Can you get a refund on theatre tickets? ›

Once you have paid for the tickets they cannot be cancelled or changed for another date. What if the show is cancelled?

Can i get a refund? Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, refund procedures will be announced by the Event Partner. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations.

Can I exchange my tickets, or get a refund? All ticket sales are non-refundable except in the case of a cancelled performance. Tickets can only be exchanged for an alternative date of the same event, at the same venue.

Tickets Are Refunded Automatically If The Show Is Cancelled

In the case of a show cancellation, all Broadway tickets are automatically refunded and you do not have to do anything to get refunded.

If you cancel the booking between 20 minutes to 2 hours before the showtime, 50% of base ticket(s) amount and 100% of F&B amount will be refunded. The remaining amount will be treated as the cancellation charges. User is allowed to cancel up to 3 movie transactions, within 30 days.

If every passenger was able to cancel for a full refund at any time, airlines would have to raise their prices across the board to account for this increased risk. This is also why nonrefundable fares are often the cheapest tickets offered by an airline.
